This Information Notice has been prepared in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) in order to inform you about the processing of your personal data during your participation in congresses, conferences, seminars, workshops, and similar events organized by FTS TURIZM KONGRE ORG. HİZ. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ., acting as the data controller.

• Information related to participation in the event (registration status, participation fee, program preferences)

• Photographs and video recordings taken during the event

• Meal preference information

• In case of speaker applications: curriculum vitae, photograph, academic/professional information, abstract submission

 

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

• Carrying out event organization activities

• Creating participant and speaker records

• Ensuring communication

• Managing invoicing and accounting processes

• Documenting the event

• Conducting program development and information activities

 

Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data

Your personal data are processed based on the following legal grounds:

• Article 5/2(c) of KVKK: Fulfillment of legal obligations

• Article 5/2(f) of KVKK: Legitimate interests of the data controller

• Article 5/1 of KVKK: Your explicit consent

 

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, in compliance with KVKK, to:

• Service providers from whom accounting, payment, and information technology services are received

• Individuals and institutions cooperating within the scope of event organization

• Service providers located abroad, provided that your explicit consent is obtained

 

Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data are retained for the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation and, in any case, for the duration required by the purposes of processing. Upon the expiration of such periods, personal data are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

 

Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data are processed

• Request information if your personal data have been processed

• Learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with such purpose

• Request correction or deletion of your personal data

• Object to the processing of your personal data

EXPLICIT CONSENT TEXT REGARDING PHOTOGRAPH AND VIDEO RECORDINGSPHOTOGRAPH AND VIDEO RECORDINGS

This text has been prepared within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data in order to obtain my explicit consent regarding the recording and use of photographs and video images taken during events.

I hereby declare that I give my explicit consent to:

• The recording of photographs and video images of me during events organized by FTS TURIZM KONGRE ORG. HİZ. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ.,

• The storage of such recordings in corporate archives,

• The use of such recordings on the company’s website, social media accounts, and digital and printed promotional materials.
   

This consent may be withdrawn by me at any time.
